Project Overview
In early 2024, Honda Gitas, a homeowner living near Murcia, was struggling to keep her recently purchased house warm. The property had poor insulation, which made the home uncomfortable during the colder months and difficult to heat efficiently.

The Heating Solution
Royal Infrared Heating® recommended a tailored infrared heating setup for the open-plan living area, kitchen, hallway and bedroom.
For the open-plan living room, kitchen and hallway area of approximately 40m², the following products were installed:
1 x Domus 900W panel
1 x Domus 580W panel
1 x Repulsus 350W mirror heater for the kitchen area
The Domus panels provided the main source of heat for the open living space, while the Repulsus 350W mirror heater added extra warmth and style to the kitchen area.
For the bedroom, a Domus 580W panel was installed above the bed to provide direct and comfortable warmth during the colder months.
Alternative Setup Options
Depending on the room layout, insulation and design preference, the Domus 900W panel could also be replaced with another combination, such as:
2 x Domus 580W panels
or
1 x Domus 580W panel + 1 x Repulsus 350W mirror heater
This gives homeowners more flexibility when choosing the best heating layout for open-plan spaces, larger rooms or areas where extra coverage is needed.
Installation
The installation was carried out by local electricians near Murcia. The cost was approximately €30–€40 per panel, and the full installation took around 2–3 hours.
The process was quick, clean and straightforward, with all panels mounted neatly in the chosen areas.

The Heating Solution

Installation
All wiring was concealed during installation, giving the finished setup a clean and modern appearance.
The Domus panels were mounted neatly in each area, while the Poer 26 WiFi thermostats allowed each space to be controlled separately for better comfort and efficiency.

The Heating Solution
Royal Infrared Heating® recommended a tailored setup using 3 Domus far infrared panels, each connected to a mains-powered Poer 26 WiFi thermostat.

Living Area
For the main living area, the following products were installed:

The Domus 900W panel was installed in the centre of the main wall, approximately one metre above the floor. This position helped maximise heat distribution across the living space.
The thermostat was installed next to the panel, making it easy to adjust the temperature and set timers when needed.
Dining Area
For the dining area, the following products were installed:

1 x Poer 26 WiFi thermostat
The Domus 580W panel was mounted next to the window, directly facing the dining table. This placement provided comfortable warmth during meals and helped create a more pleasant dining space.
A separate thermostat was fitted for this area, allowing independent control from the living area.
Hall and Stairs
For the hall and stair area, the following products were installed:
1 x Domus 580W panel
1 x Poer 26 WiFi thermostat
The panel was installed on the main wall, facing the stairs. This helped provide warmth to both the hallway and the stairwell leading to the upper floor.
Like the other panels, it was connected to its own Poer 26 WiFi thermostat for precise temperature control.
Installation
The installation was carried out by a local professional electrician recommended by the Royal Infrared Heating® team.
The electrician ensured each panel was positioned correctly and wired neatly to its dedicated thermostat for safe, convenient and efficient use.

The Domus 900W panel was mounted near the sofa to act as the main heater during the winter months.
The Domus 580W panel was installed approximately 30cm above the floor on an exterior wall near the window. This helped reduce the effect of cold draughts and warm the wall itself, improving comfort in the room.
Each panel was connected to its own Avis S smart plug-in thermostat, allowing independent temperature control for different areas of the living space.
Bedroom
For the bedroom of approximately 13m², the following was installed:

Installation

This installation was completed inside a Mediterranean home in La Manga, Murcia. The sauna was placed in a bright living area beside a natural stone wall, with large glass doors opening towards the terrace.
To the left of the sauna entrance, the doors lead directly out to the terrace and open swimming pool area. This made the position especially practical, allowing the sauna to become part of the home’s normal daily routine after swimming, relaxing outside or spending time in the sun.
The Sauna Solution
The Balnera S3 was chosen because it offered the right balance of comfort, size and appearance for the space. The natural Canadian Hemlock finish works well with the stone wall, neutral interior colours and warm Mediterranean light.

Project Overview
This project was created for a family from Lithuania with a home in Alicante. They wanted an infrared sauna that would fit their available space, offer a private and comfortable interior, and feel natural within the warm Mediterranean setting of the property.
Instead of choosing a standard model, the family requested a customised Balnera S design with adjusted dimensions and a more enclosed structure. The goal was to keep the elegance of the glass entrance while replacing the side glass walls with wood for greater privacy during use.
The Sauna Solution
The Balnera S Custom was produced with a special size based on the client’s requirements. The sauna was designed with a glass door at the front, while the surrounding glass wall sections were replaced with wood panels to create a more private and enclosed feeling.
This gave the sauna a calmer and more traditional interior atmosphere while still keeping a clean, modern look from the front. The natural Canadian Hemlock finish also helped the sauna blend beautifully with the soft tones of the room and the coastal views outside.
Customisation Details
