To the left of the sauna entrance, the doors lead directly out to the terrace and open swimming pool area. This made the position especially practical, allowing the sauna to become part of the home’s normal daily routine after swimming, relaxing outside or spending time in the sun.

For this project, the homeowner arranged for local electricians to professionally hardwire the sauna into the property’s central smart home system. This allowed the cable to be hidden and gave the installation a cleaner, more integrated finish.
Everyday Use
The location of the sauna makes it very convenient for regular use. It is positioned close to the terrace, the pool area and the main living space, so it can be used after swimming, during cooler evenings or as part of a quiet wellness routine at home.

This project was created for a family from Lithuania with a home in Alicante. They wanted an infrared sauna that would fit their available space, offer a private and comfortable interior, and feel natural within the warm Mediterranean setting of the property.
Instead of choosing a standard model, the family requested a customised Balnera S design with adjusted dimensions and a more enclosed structure. The goal was to keep the elegance of the glass entrance while replacing the side glass walls with wood for greater privacy during use.

Después de casi dos años utilizando la sauna Balnera S2, puedo decir con total certeza que ha sido una de las mejores inversiones para mi bienestar. Vivo en Marbella, y aunque el clima aquí es agradable, en invierno las temperaturas pueden bajar bastante, y tener una sauna en casa ha sido una auténtica maravilla.
Lo que más me sorprendió desde el primer día fue lo fácil que fue montarla. Vino en varias piezas preensambladas y en menos de 30 minutos ya estaba lista para su uso, sin necesidad de contratar a un profesional. El calor infrarrojo se siente mucho más natural que en las saunas tradicionales, no sofoca, y el aire no se vuelve denso, lo que me permite estar más tiempo dentro sin sentirme incómoda.
Desde que la tengo, noto una gran diferencia en mis músculos después de hacer ejercicio y mi piel se ve mucho más luminosa. Además, no consume demasiada electricidad, algo que al principio me preocupaba.
