Remove all the protective films
Please make sure to remove all the protective films (both on the front and back)! On the front - a small sticker at the top right corner. On the back - the blue film.
Domus Air Tripod Stand
This Assembly Guide includes instructions for Domus Air 580W and 900W. Please keep in mind that Domus Air can be mounted only horizontally to the Tripod Stand. Please do not try to mount it vertically to avoid any damage to the product and yourself. In case of a vertical mounting, the Tripod Stand can be unstable.
Heater Mounting brackets
The mounting brackets are attached to the Domus panel to its back part.
Tripod Stand Mounting Rails
The mounting rails for all heaters of Domus Air model are pre-assembled and are ready to be attached to the panel.
In terms of positioning of the heater in the heated room/area, the best is to keep close to the main area where you spend most of the time.
Indeed, overtime the infrared waves will reach all surfaces providing an even temperature, but you will still feel more heat close to the heater.

Power source
Plug it in
If you want simply plug the heater in a socket, please make sure the socket is located nearby or you use a proper quality socket-extension. By default the electrical cord length is 1.9m. You can cut it and extend if needed.
Use this method for a simple on/off usage or with one of our plug-in thermostats.
Thermostat (if you order one)
This Installation Guide does not include details to install and setup our thermostats. Please check the product page to find the right Installation Guide.
Before you choose the place to keep the Domus Air heater, please keep in mind that in case you want to use the heater with one of our plug-in thermostat, you should position a chosen thermostat not too far from the panel. However, you can always use cord extension in case of lack of sockets in the heated area.
This is important in order to minimise the difference between the real ambient temperature and the one which will be displayed on the thermostat. Thermostat allows you to have manual, app, smart and voice (Alexa, Google Home) controls over the heater.
ASSEMBLY THE TRIPOD AND HEATER
1. Tripod assembly
Screw each leg into the tripod body. The shortest leg should go to the back side as shown on the image.
Make sure you position the white connectors right between the leg and body to keep all perfect.
The IR heater Domus is safe to touch, however we always recommend to keep at least 10-30cm from the nearest furniture/curtain or interior object for the safety reasons.
You are responsible of choosing the appropriate operation position.
2. Open the lower rail
Disassembly the lower rail. You will need to tighten it when the panel is mounted to the Tripod.
3. Attach the rails to the heater
Attach the rails to the brackets on the back side of the Domus panel. The screws are now screwed onto the rails and must be inserted into the rails as shown щт the illustration, lifted upwards and moved to the left or right to securely fix rails to avoid falling down.
Please pay attention to the rails. They are different. The one, that you opened during the previous step, must be on the bottom part of the panel (when it is mounted to the tripod).
This is required because another rail (which cannot be opened) will secure the position of the panel on the tripod.
4. Mount the panel to the Tripod Stand
This action is recommended to perform with a help of a second person. The weight of the panel with the rails on it is 13 kg.
By safely holding the panel with the attached rails, mount the top rail to the Tripod so it is being hold by the locking clamp (already preinstalled and tightened) as shown on the illustration below. You should tighten the locking clamp time to time depending on the use of Domus Air.

Plug the panel Domus in to start using it. If you order the heater with a plug-in thermostat, you should plug an electrical cord of a panel in a thermostat.
